I am Creative Director with over 16 years experience creating award-winning work for fortune 500 brands.
I solve problems and seize missed opportunities by coming up with concepts based on business goals, research, user-centered design processes and measurement plans. For me, these principles apply to interaction design as much as advertising – so I thrive best in environments where I can work on all different types of challenges. Creating everything from integrated digital advertising campaigns, websites (yes, mobile), web and mobile applications, CRM programs, videos and social engagement initiatives.
I partner with other senior leads to win new business, build and foster client relationships, achieve business goals and always, always advocate for the end-user/consumer at every step in the process - because they ultimately decide the success of the work.
As a creative lead, I direct and mentor a team of associate creative directors, art directors, interaction designers, writers and information architects to bring great ideas to life. But I am not just a concept engine behind a desk, I keep my hands dirty, so you might find me sketching, creating flows, writing or simply finding inspiration for the team.
I take personal pride in the work my team and I put out into the world. I value results like changing market perceptions and increasing sales more than winning industry awards (but I don't mind them in the least ;)
I’ve been doing this since 1997. And I love what I do – or wouldn’t do it at all. Whether you call me a Strategist, CD or a UXD it doesn't matter. I just want to make meaningful brand experiences for real human beings.
